The Dinky Drum Company, LLC, which began in 1989 by Founder & President Samuel Dinkins, III, is a professional Music Education, Performance and Entertainment business whose mission is “To provide knowledge and experiences which promote the enjoyment of music for a lifetime!” The DDC School of Music teaches children and adults about music through private & group lessons; our Summer Arts Program; KinderMusik for children 2 – 5 years of age; Music HealthRHYTHMS and Music Appreciation Classes. DDC Performances incorporate an educational component to a variety of shows beyond the concert hall and they are designed for audiences of all ages. Some of these performances include: “Cartoon Jazz,” “Celebrate Mexico-Cinco de Mayo,” “History of Jazz,” and “The Afro American Experience” to name some. DDC Entertainment provides Musicians, Ensembles, Bands and Groups for any event, large or small. We can assist clients by developing a musical product for any Style, Theme or Concept. Among the many styles of music available are: Contemporary Jazz Gospel; Popular Dance; Disco; Motown; R & B; Salsa; and Smooth & Traditional Jazz to mention a few. In addition, DDC provides corporate music workshops through facilitated Drum Circles and team building exercises designed for stress relief and company moral.
