Drum Lessons with Jesús A. Canal — Taroleando LLC – Elevate Your Percussion Skills
With over 20 years of drumming experience and a passion for teaching, I offer private and group drum lessons tailored to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re just starting or looking to take your playing to the next level, my goal is to help you grow as a confident, skilled, and musical drummer.
My background includes teaching both middle school and high school drumlines, performing professionally as a Banda percussionist, and working with students in styles ranging from traditional marching percussion to Banda, and other genres. I’ve been drumming since 2004 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Television Production from Cal State Northridge, which also informs my creative and structured teaching style.
Lessons are available both in-person and online. I focus on building solid technique, improving sound quality, and developing musicality. Reading music is part of my method, but only when it supports the student’s learning style and goals.
