Founded in 1995, the Percussion Marketing Council is comprised of industry-leading members representing every facet of the percussion industry manufacturing, distribution, publishing, education, and music partner alliances.
The PMC is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization that is governed by an all-volunteer executive and advisory board. Board positions represent various facets of the organization, including:

The PMC sponsors educational programs, campaigns, and activities to increase the entire population's interest in drums and drumming. PMC is a consistent recipient of NAMM Foundation funding for various educational programs and other music-making campaigns and initiatives.
